Lift Up Public Schools (LUPS) is a vibrant coalition from Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, championing excellent, safe, and welcoming public education for all.   Our mission began from the need to combat false information at school board meetings and on social media. We bring you the facts about the laws and policies shaping our schools.   Completely independent, LUPS is powered by local volunteers with no political funding. We’re here to ensure outstanding public education remains a key part of our thriving democracy.

Lift Up Public Schools (LUPS) is a community-based coalition, not a traditional membership organization. There are no dues or formal applications. LUPS brings together parents, educators, students, community leaders, and partner organizations who believe in strengthening public education.
